Arkansas Repertory Theatre (The Rep), the state's largest professional nonprofit theatre, is proud to announce its 36th MainStage Season. The new season has been specially prepared for a newly renovated theatre, and will include new musicals and dramas, plus timeless classics to form a season that exemplifies The Rep's mission of producing diverse work of the highest artistic standards for its Arkansas audience.

In June, 2011, The Ivoryton Playhouse reaches its 100th birthday. 100 years of hosting dances and town meetings, producing great theatre, discovering movie stars and great directors and perhaps even the stars of tomorrow. The 2011 season - the Centennial Celebration - will build on this success and provide audiences with musicals and plays that reflect the unique history.

La Mirada Theatre For the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment are thrilled to present the fifth and final production of La Mirada Theatre?s 2008-2009 season of shows, the West Coast Premiere of a new and completely revised production of Ring of Fire, created by Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr., conceived by William Meade, orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby, choreography by Jane Lanier and directed by and starring one of the original cast members from the Broadway production, Jason Edwards. Ring of Fire will begin performances on Friday, June 5 and will run through Sunday, June 21 at La Mirada Theatre For the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Boulevard in La Mirada, near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue.

2009 Festival Of New American Musicals Held April-July

The 2009 Festival of New American Musicals, a four-month musical theatre festival, will be held in April through July, 2009, throughout Southern California. Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett are the Executive Producers of the second annual Festival.
