Indy Short: Wendy Dent Premieres 'December 25' at Palm Springs International ShortFest

Award winning Australian writer-filmmaker Wendy Dent, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader 2013-2018 and University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts Visiting Scholar 2012-2013 has premiered her new film 'December 25' at Palm Springs International ShortFest. She returned to California for the prestigious film festival, directly from her attendance at the World Economic Forum of the Middle East and North Africa at the Dead Sea in Jordan, the Young Global Leaders Annual Summit and the World Economic Forum of East Asia in Myanmar, and the Sydney Film Festival premiere of her film.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presents Swiss Family Robinson, a world premiere musical comedy by John and Patrick Kennedy. Shareen Johnstone Unveils a Tale of Lust, Murder and Love in SINS OF THE FATHER

This book follows the life of a young man who explores a new world of opportunity and new beginning after a traumatic incident of his family. In this journey, he will then begin to realize that everything has a price and not all things in life are made of gold.

The Hartt School Welcomes Javon Jackson as Associate Professor of Jazz

The Hartt School will welcome acclaimed tenor saxophonist Javon Jackson as Associate Professor of Jazz and Chair of the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz. Jackson, who's appointment begins in August, will serve as the educational and administrative leader for the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz, and will teach, work with ensembles, assist in recruitment and development efforts, and represent the Institute and The Hartt School both internally and externally.

But when he receives the life insurance check for his deceased wife, it's more than he can bear and he starts making bets on anything and everything. Meanwhile Anne (Julie White) meets a stunning, young bookstore clerk, Brittney, (Annie Heise) who turns out to be all beauty and no brains. Lauren comes to Ryan's rescue by fleecing him at poker and in the aftermath, Ryan bonds with Anne over their respective lost loves. 'Double Down' airs March 5 at 9 p.m. on NBC.

Courteney Cox to Guest on Matthew Perry's GO ON

NBC is setting up a mini-FRIENDS reunion! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Courteney Cox is set to guest star on Matthew Perry's GO ON this April. The pair formerly played Chandler and Monica Bing on the hit sitcom FRIENDS.
