Philadelphia Theatre Company concludes its 2009-2010 season with August Wilson's masterpiece and first Broadway success Ma Rainey's Black Bottom on May 21-June 13.

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park ends its Marx Theatre season with the music of jazz great Fats Waller in AIN'T MISBEHAVIN'. This supercharged sizzle of song and dance will run April 30 through May 29 in the Robert S. Marx Theatre.

'Ain't Misbehavin',' The Fats Waller Musical Show, opens Friday, April 24 at 8 p.m. at the Ahmanson Theatre. Performances of the Center Theatre Group production continue through May 31.

At the height of the historic Harlem Renaissance, venues like The Cotton Club were jumpin' to a new beat called 'swing.' Ain't Misbehavin' is a rollicking, finger-snapping, toe-tapping, Tony Award-winning musical revue - a tribute to the black entertainers of the early 1900's that centers on the music of one of the most prolific musicians of the time, Thomas 'Fats' Waller.

The world premiere of Tim Acito's musical adaptation of Gloria Naylor's novel, The Women of Brewster Place, opens at Arena Stage after its successful co-production run at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre. The Women of Brewster Place runs October 19 - December 9 in the Kreeger Theater; Opening performance is Friday, October 26 at 8PM.

Washington, D.C.'s Arena Stage, which has been increasingly busy with musicals in recent years, has announced casting for its upcoming production of the Bock and Harnick classic She Loves Me, which will begin performances on November 17th on the Fichlander Stage, with opening night set for November 28th

CanStage's Urinetown and the resident Canadian production of Hairspray led the Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations, with 10 and 8 respectively
