Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to present an encore presentation of Fancy Nancy, The Musical as part of its third season of Theater for Young Audiences. Book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Danny Abosch and directed by Angeline Mirenda based on original staging by Kelly Todd, Fancy Nancy, the Musical will preview from May 5 through May 13; regular performances will begin May 13 and continue through May 28 on the Cripe Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Chicago Theatre Workshop, in association with Fletcher Jones Volkswagen, is proud to announce the regional premiere of Little Miss Sunshine, May 11 - June 4, at The Edge Theatre, 5451 N. Broadway. Little Miss Sunshine, music and lyrics by James Lapine and book by William Finn, is directed and choreographed by Maggie Portman and music directed by Nick Sula.

A NEW BRAIN carries risks, much akin to that of the lead character's brain condition, but Josh Waller's soaring voice as Gordon Schwinn complemented by the fluid sound of a strong ensemble should top your to-do list next week.

Wendy Scherl to Play Metropolitan Room This Spring

In 2015, after a lengthy eighteen year hiatus, New York born vocalist Wendy Scherl returned to the world of cabaret with her highly acclaimed solo show, What Do You Do All Day at Don't Tell Mama (directed by Helen Baldasarre.) The success of that show led to a string of notable singing appearances in various clubs around the city, culminating in Wendy' s triumph as the first runner up in the 2016 MetroStar search at the Metropolitan Room.
BWW Review: GMCLA Knocks HE HAD IT COMING Out of the Park

On April 1 and 2 GMCLA presented its spring concert at the Alex Theatre in Glendale He Had It Coming, a compilation of Broadway tunes with special guest star Tony winner and Emmy nominated actor/singer Alan Cumming and a few magnificent surprises. Needless to say, the show was one of their longest, running almost two hours and a half including intermission, but was well worth it.
