59E59 Theaters will present LE JAZZ HOT: HOW THE FRENCH SAVED JAZZ, created by Peter and Will Anderson and featuring their jazz quintet. LE JAZZ HOT: HOW THE FRENCH SAVED JAZZ begins performances on Tuesday, December 3 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 29. Press opening is Wednesday, December 11 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; & Saturday at 5:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM & 7:30 PM. Celebrating traditional jazz with rising stars and established bands - the festival will showcase the best talent of the Hot Jazz Renaissance sweeping the country.

The Louis Armstrong House Museum proudly welcomes back the York College Summer Jazz Program and their big band sound to Louis's garden today, August 4th at 2pm. This annual concert showcases outstanding high school musicians from all five boroughs. It's a free concert celebrating Louis Armstrong's birthday. And, there will be cake!

Louis Armstrong House Museum welcomes Peter & Will Anderson Sextet, one of NYC's hottest jazz bands, to Louis's house on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2pm. This is the final concert in the museum's Hot Jazz / Cool Garden Summer Concert Series and it's a must-have ticket this summer. NYC's summer concert season just got very cool with the Hot Jazz / Cool Garden 2013. Three hot NYC jazz bands will play in Louis's Garden this summer: Bria's Hot Five with Bria Skonberg today, July 4th - Louis Armstrong's birthday, Jon-Erik Kellso and the EarRegulars on July 20th and Peter & Will Anderson Sextet on August 17th. Each concert is at 2:00 pm. Concerts include complimentary red beans n' rice (Louis's favorite recipe) & sweet tea. And, since Louis always celebrated his birthday on July 4th birthday cake will be served during the Fourth of July event to celebrate!
