I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE Plays 8/11-23 at Totem Pole Playhouse

A musical journey that started with Adam and Eve takes the stage at Totem Pole Playhouse for its season finale, August 11, 2009. I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! premiered Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre in New York on August 1, 1996 and ran for 5,003 performances, making it the longest running Off-Broadway musical. Patriot Federal Credit Union is the guest sponsor.

Cast Announced For OPERATION EPSILON Reading 7/27

The cast has been announced for the reading of Operation Epsilon, a new play by Alan Brody (Housewives of Manheim), directed by Andy Sandberg (Producer of Hair). This developmental reading is being presented by Ellen Berman (Enchanted April), and this presentation is supported by a grant from the Council of the Arts at MIT.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, the laugh-inducing, award-winning musical comedy about love in the suburbs, is often described as 'Seinfeld set to music'. It's a hilarious look at love and relationships that is as touching and insightful as it is humorous. Four actors play over forty roles scaling the dizzying spectrum of male/female relationships. The trials and tribulations of being single, dating, marriage, loss, and heartbreak - and everything in the relationship process that you have ever secretly thought about, but were afraid to admit - are cleverly explored.

'LOVE, LOSS...' To Play Limited Run Off-Bwy 9/21; Chenoweth, Daly, O'Donnell And More To Star

Following a series of sold-out readings last spring, LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, an intimate collection of stories by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, will play a 12-week run at New York's Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street). Preview performances will begin on September 21, 2009, with the opening night set for October 1. The announcement was made today by producer Daryl Roth.

As The Marvelous Wonderettes continues its dream run at the Westside Theatre, the production proudly welcomes its three newest Wonderettes. Kirsten Bracken joins the cast as 'Suzy' and Christina DeCicco steps into the role of 'Cindy Lou' on Monday, June 8. Lindsay Mendez begins as 'Betty Jean' on Sunday, June 14.

2008-2009 75th Annual Drama League Nominations Announced

The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President; Gabriel Shanks, Executive Director) proudly announces nominations for the 2008-09 Drama League Awards, to be awarded at The 75th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on Friday, May 15, 2009 (noon) in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square (1535 Broadway at 46th Street). The event will be co-hosted by Jeremy Irons (Impressionism) and Cynthia Nixon (Distracted).

Casting Announced For Atlantic Theater Company's MAKE ME

Atlantic Theater Company announces complete casting for the world premiere of Leslie Ayvazian's new comedy MAKE ME, directed by Atlantic Associate Artistic Director Christian Parker. Broadway veterans Anthony Arkin (I'm Not Rappaport); Candy Buckley (After The Fall); Jessica Hecht (Julius Caesar); J.R. Horne (The Crucible); Richard Masur (Democracy) and Ellen Parker (The Heidi Chronicles) will star in Atlantic's final production of its 2008-2009 season, beginning previews at Atlantic Stage 2 on May 19 and opening May 31. Playwright and screenwriter Ayvazian's hit Off-Broadway play Nine Armenians won the Kennedy Center's Roger L. Stevens Award, the John Gassner Outer Critics Award and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.

As The Marvelous Wonderettes continues its dream run at the Westside Theatre, Misty Cotton joins the production as 'Missy' on Friday, March 6. She joins fellow cast mates Beth Malone, Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock in this non-stop pop musical comedy written and directed by Roger Bean. The Marvelous Wonderettes began previews on August 29, 2008 and the show celebrated its Official Opening on September 14. Farah Alvin, who originated the role of 'Missy' Off-Broadway, plays her final performance on Sunday, March 1.

Misty Cotton to Join The Marvelous Wonderettes March 6

The Marvelous Wonderettes has announced that Misty Cotton, who played the role of Missy back in the Laguna Playhouse production of the show will join the show Off-Broadway (replacing Farah Alvin) on March 6.
