Amas Musical Theatre(Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present further staged readings of Play It by Heart, a new musical, with music by David Spangler, Jerry Taylorand Marty Dodson, lyrics byDavid Spangler, Jerry Taylor,R.T. Robinson, and Marty Dodson, and book byWilly Holtzman. Directed by Daniel Goldsteinwith music direction by Andrew Wilder, the readings (by invitation only) will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 1pm and 5pm at Opry City Stage (48th/49th& Broadway).

Bill Maher, longtime host of HBO's "Real Time," will return to the Aces of Comedy stage. His newly added dates include June 15 - 16, July 20 - 21, September 7 - 8 and October 26 - 27. Tickets to see him live at the Terry Fator Theater inside The Mirage Hotel & Casino are on sale now. All shows are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced that WAYNE BRADY will join "THE SOUL SESSION," the monthly event created and hosted by Broadway's KYLE TAYLOR PARKER, as a special musical guest on Sunday, April 22 at 9:30 PM. "THE SOUL SESSION" is an evening of showtunes and pop standards reimagined into stirring R&B, jazz and soul arrangements that feature music from shows like Hairspray, West Side Story, The Color Purple, and more. The show is directed by Nathan Peck with Music Direction by Joshua Stephen Kartes. The April edition will also feature Christiani Pitts (A Bronx Tale) as special guest.

The winner of six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a Tony Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The ceremony will be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday, April 29, 2018 hosted by Mario Lopez, host and star of the Emmy award-winning syndicated entertainment news show, Extra, and Sheryl Underwood, one of the hosts of the Emmy award-winning, CBS Daytime program, The Talk.
