TheatreWorks New Milford has announced their 50th Anniversary 2017 season which includes five main-stage shows, five free staged readings, and plans for their ongoing TheatreWorks Kids (TW Kids) program.

In response to continued strong ticket sales and critical acclaim, ArtsWest will further extend the run of Peter and the Starcatcher through Friday, December 30. The additional performances are scheduled for Wednesday 12/28, Thursday 12/29and Friday 12/30 at 7:30pm. Tickets for the added performances can be purchased immediately at artswest.org.

As previously announced, Westport Country Playhouse's production of Lerner & Loewe's 'Camelot,' starring Tony Award winner Robert Sean Leonard as King Arthur and Britney Coleman as Queen Guenevere, has extended by an extra week through Saturday, November 5. Peter and the Starcatcher is based on the bestselling children's book by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. This Tony Award-winning show by Rick Elice, with music by Wayne Barker, is now showing at the Growing Stage Theater in Netcong through 10/23.

Broadwayworld.com interviewed Josh Carpenter who will play Black Stache in The Growing Stage production of 'Peter and the Starcatcher.' Directed by Stephen L. Fredericks with musical direction by Stephen Fox and choreography by Jillian Petrie, the show will be on the Netcong stage from through 10/23.

Classic tale reimagined.Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's Camelot is being presented in a 'reimagined' way at the Westport Country Playhouse.

ONSTAGE in Bedford Artistic Director Michael B. Winters announced tonight via Facebook the theater's 32nd season, which will be performed at the Trinity Arts Theater in the historic Bedford Boys Ranch. The new season will begin in January, 2017, with a mix of classic plays and newer works, including a regional premiere and three area premiere productions, as well as a new program the theater is calling 'SpotON',  a spotlight series featuring new works, staged readings and more.
