Mint Theater Company will conclude the highly popular Silver Lining Streaming Series with the on-demand streaming of the three-camera archival recording (filmed in HD!) of The Fatal Weakness by George Kelly, beginning Monday May 17th, and continuing through June 27th.

Ward Morehouse III - American author, playwright, and newspaperman, known particularly for his books on the grand hotels of New York City and London and celebrated for his acute acumen of the American theater - will speak at the University of Georgia's Richard B. Russell Special Collections Library, 300 South Hull Street, in Athens, GA on Wednesday, February 21 at 5;30 p.m.

'A Night at the Plaza' a new musical comedy with book by Ward Morehouse III and music and lyrics by David Romeo, will receive a reading at New York's Players Club tonight, Tuesday, May 16 at 7:00 PM. It is a closed reading.

 'Hound Dog,' a gripping new two-character play by Ward Morehouse III, will have a closed reading at the T. Schreiber Studio, 151 West 26th Street on July 13.

Today we are turning back the hands of time to 1947 in honor of awards season to one of the most revered and revived plays of all time, Tennessee Williams's A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE.

Therefore, Bob O'Hare's Recovery at Don't Tell Mama on the evening of November 17th may well be one of the greatest surprises beheld in many a moon....It's not simply the fact that O'Hare's truly-lovely voice emerges as never over-coached and with a really terrific natural sound. It's not simply that he's made truly impeccable choices in terms of material, both for not being terribly precocious but also very carefully selected. It is, in point of fact, that this really is what an act is supposed to represent both as what cabaret was in its heyday and what the art form is supposed to be from this point on....The evening's first true high-point rears its head with 'One Step' by Malby and Shire, featuring a spectacular patter sequence, followed shortly thereafter by 'Journey to the Past' by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Award-winning director Eric Michael Gillett once again proves himself as a master of the genre here...O'Hare emerges as triumphant at every turn. The guy has very simply been through hell and back, and it never shows. He couldn't be more quick with a smile or generosity of spirit, and it's truly one of the feel-good evenings of this or any other of the several last cabaret seasons. Mint Theater today announced their current production, Philip Goes Forth by George Kelly will extend one additional week, through October 27h. Jerry Ruiz (Love Goes to Press, Basilica) directs a cast that includes Cliff Bemis, Teddy Bergman, Bernardo Cubria, Carole Healey, Christine Toy Johnson, Natalie Kuhn, Brian MacDonald, Jennifer McVey and Rachel Moulton.
