Singer Ruth Carlin, whose debut album "Moon Song" will be released at her show of the same name at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Saturday, April 6 at 8:00 PM, will be Ward Morehouse III's special guest on his TV show Broadway After Dark.

It airs Monday, April 1 from 7:00 - 7:30 PM on Time Warner Channel 56 or on the Internet at MNN.org Channel 2/Lifestyle.

Morehouse, a former Broadway columnist with the New York Post and The New York Sun, edited the popular Broadway After Dark website for several years before writing for Black Tie Magazine and his TV show.

Carlin's passion to communicate through song drew back her to cabaret performing after a stint with the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop. Along the way she studied vocal technique with Marianne Challis. Her first solo show was in November of 2005 at Danny's Skylight Room, and a second show followed at The Laurie Beechman. Since then Ruth has performed regularly at The Duplex.
