Silk Road Theatre Project will begin its 2010 season with the World Premiere of THE DNA TRAIL: A Genealogy of Short Plays about Ancestry, Identity, and Utter Confusion, conceived by SRTP's artistic director Jamil Khoury, commissioned by Silk Road Theatre Project, directed by Steve Scott, and featuring new plays by Philip Kan Gotanda, Velina Hasu Houston, David Henry Hwang, Jamil Khoury, Shishir Kurup, Lina Patel, and Elizabeth Wong.

EVN Productions and Old Timey Productions, in association with The ATTIC Theatre and Film Center will present the World Premiere of 'NIGHTS OF NOIR!' - 'Marked For Love' & 'Of Dicks And Dames,' an evening of two 40's themed one-act whodunits hosted by Burlesque Goddess, Honey Ima Home. Written and directed by Kasey Wilson, performances will be given on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. from May 22 - June 27, 2009 at The ATTIC Theatre and Film Center; 5429 W. Washington Boulevard (between Fairfax and Hauser Streets), Los Angeles, CA 90016.

In a rare one-night-only performance, internationally acclaimed tenor Pl?cido Domingo, General Director of Washington National Opera, will perform a concert featuring his favorite Spanish-language music, May 1, 2009 in Washington, D.C. Entitled Pl?cido Domingo Sings: From My Latin Soul, the concert will feature the 12-time Grammy Award winner singing well known music from the tango, ranchera (mariachi) and zarzuela traditions, including 'La maravilla,' 'No puede ser' and the iconic anthem 'Granada.' Special guest Lucero- the award-winning Mexican singer and actress-will join Mr. Domingo for this Latin-themed event.
