Emmy Award-winning comedienne VICKI LAWRENCE, one of the most beloved television personalities of her generation, has taken her most endearing character, Mama, out of the closet, dusted off her sensible shoes and hit the road with her new touring production, VICKI LAWRENCE AND MAMA: A TWO-WOMAN SHOW. Lawrence, who created the Mama character after being plucked out of total obscurity as a high school senior to become part of the now-legendary cast of the Carol Burnett Show, brings Vicki Lawrence and Mama: A Two Woman Show to the stage of the Union County Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 3 at 8 p.m.

After nearly twenty years in the old speakeasy, The National Pastime Theater has changed location and unveils Chicago's newest theatrical venue in the Uptown neighborhood with another world premiere custom crafted for NPT's style. In 1994 Michael Sokoloff wrote Red Dog Moon for The National Pastime Theater to open our season in its first permanent home. The inaugural production in its new theatrical venue reunites NPT's Founder and Artistic Director Laurence Bryan and NPT resident playwright Michael Sokoloff in the world premier of A Bend in the Road, a tale of Westward expansion.
