Midsommer Flight announces its fifth season presenting free Shakespeare productions, returning to Chicago parks this summer with the delightful comedy As You Like It and remounting its hugely successful indoor winter production of Twelfth Night at the Lincoln Park Conservatory in December. Dedicated to presenting high quality, accessible productions of Shakespeare's plays, Midsommer Flight is a proud arts partner with the Chicago Park District.

Greg Mohr and Scott Weiner -- co-owners of The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group -- will open their second location of Roots Handmade Pizza to the public at 11am on Saturday, December 19 at 2200 W Lawrence Ave in Lincoln Square.   The Roots location in Lincoln Square will be open Sundays thru Fridays from 11am until 2am and on Saturdays from 11am until 3am. Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles presents Women in Music, a festive celebration featuring female composers, conductors and performers, at Preston Bradley Center (941 W. Lawrence, Chicago) on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 3 p.m. This concert, hosted by Orange Is the New Black star Lea DeLaria, will feature a special guest appearance by Chicago's own Artemis Singers, the first lesbian feminist chorus in the U.S. The Lakeside Pride Symphonic Band, under the direction of Kyle Rhoades, will perform the masterworks planned for this special event.

Tickets go on sale August 1 at 12 p.m. Entrance to the Fringe Festival, called Chicago's 'Best Performing Arts Festival,' by the Chicago Reader, is a one-time button purchase of $5, after that all individual performances are $10. Passes with a discounted ticket price are available when attending multiple performances: five-show pass is $45, ten-show pass is $80 and an unlimited pass is $175. Each venue will have a box office for day-of purchase and the box office for the entire Festival is located at Fringe Central, 4780 N. Milwaukee Ave, Fischman's Liquors. Tickets may be purchased at chicagofringe.org.

Midsommer Flight announces its third summer season of Shakespeare in the Park with the delightful comedy Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare and directed by Midsommer Flight's Founder and Producing Artistic Director Beth Wolf. Dedicated to presenting outdoor performances of Shakespeare's plays, Midsommer Flight is a proud arts partner with the Chicago Park District. Much Ado About Nothing runs today, July 19 through August 24, Saturdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
