Jackass star Bam Margera is taking his wild stunt ideas to a whole new level with Bam's Bad Ass Game Show, an over-the-top competition series greenlit today by TBS. The network ordered six episodes of the half-hour series, which is set to premiere in 2014.

On January 17th, TCL (formerly Grauman's) Chinese Theatre presented a public screening of 'THE BIRDS' featuring a Q&A with cast co-stars Tippi Hedren and Veronica Cartwright. Hinton Battle's Love Lies - Treat Her Like a Lady, the musical he conceived and debuted this summer at the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) in New York, is scheduled to begin a national tour of key cities at the start of 2013.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that acclaimed film and television actor Christopher Lloyd, will star as Azdak in the company's upcoming spring production of Bertolt Brecht's THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE, to be directed by Brian Kulick (who directed Brecht's Galileo last season), and featuring new music by Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik, featuring translation by James and Tania Stern with lyrics by W.H. Auden. THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE will begin performances Thursday, May 2 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) for a limited engagement. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, April 2.

Writers in Performance participants are diverse by design; not only in ethnicity, but by age, and experience as well, mixing professionals with students.
