The Tony Award-winning stars Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane were joined by a host of special guests when they served as Masters of Ceremonies for the Vineyard Theatre Gala honoring the five-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman at the company's annual benefit last night, February 28 at 6:00pm at the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel. Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Tony Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Harry Connick, Jr. will star in a reimagined production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER opening fall 2011 on Broadway at a theatre to be announced. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer. INVASION! - the new play by the Swedish playwright and novelist Jonas Hassen Khemiri being presented Off-Broadway by The Play Company - will play an altered performance schedule starting Monday, February 28 at Walkerspace (46 Walker St.) in Manhattan, it has been announced by Kate Loewald, Founding Producer, and Lauren Weigel, Executive Producer of The Play Company.

Robin Williams, who makes his Broadway acting debut this spring in Rajiv Joseph's play BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO, will appear on ABC-TV's 'Nightline' on Friday, February 25.

The New York Times reports today that following his stint in DRIVING MISS DAISY, James Earl Jones will be hanging around Broadway a bit longer, assuming the role of Arthur Hockstader in the revival of Gore Vidal's 'The Best Man.' The production is scheduled to open in the spring of 2012. Orphan's Home Cycle director Michael Wilson will helm the revival. The plot centers around chief executive Hockstader trying to decide which presidental nominees to support: William Russell and Joe Cantwell.

INVASION!, a play by the Swedish playwright and novelist Jonas Hassen Khemiri that has enjoyed great success in numerous European productions, will receive its U.S. premiere -- presented Off-Broadway by The Play Company and directed by Erica Schmidt - with previews beginning February 9 prior to an official opening night on February 21 at Walkerspace (46 Walker Street) in Tribeca, it has been announced by Kate Loewald, Founding Producer and Lauren Weigel, Executive Producer of The Play Company. The English translation of INVASION! is written by Rachel Willson-Broyles.
