French classical pop singer Vincent Niclo will present a new series on BBC Radio 2 this autumn featuring exclusive interviews with a range of iconic French artists. Entitled 'Carte Blanche', the 7-part series will provide a rare insight into the lives and musical loves of designer Jean Paul Gaultier, movie star, fashion icon and animal rights activist Brigitte Bardot, jazz pianist and 3-time Oscar winner Michel Legrand and singer and actor Jane Birkin.

Transport Group has announced casting for its world premiere musical, Renascence, which begins performances Friday, October 5 at 7:30pm, at the Abrons Arts Center, 466 Grand Street. Renascence has music by Carmel Dean (musical director If/Then, American Idiot), book by Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Everyday Rapture), and lyrics from the poems of Edna St. Vincent Millay. The musical is directed by artistic director Jack Cummings III and Dick Scanlan. The opening is set for Thursday, October 25 at 7:30pm.

The Q Collective announces the playwrights for its first annual THE COMING OUT PLAY FESTIVAL. 50 playwrights from around the world submitted 66 plays that explored all aspects of what it means to come out. Unit 102 Actors Company (Unit 102) is proud to open its eighth season with the Canadian premiere of Isaac's Eye by Tony Award nominated playwright Lucas Hnath. Isaac's Eye will mark the Toronto debut of Hnath's work, and serve as an introduction to the playwright's brilliant contemporary voice before it graces the stage in a production of A Doll's House, Part 2 presented by Off-Mirvish in 2019.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro announced today the addition of Rajiv Joseph and Karen Rodriguez to the world-renowned Steppenwolf ensemble. An Obie Award-wining and Pulitzer Prize finalist playwright, Rajiv Joseph's Guards at the Taj was produced at Steppenwolf this past May to great acclaim. Karen Rodriguez, a celebrated Chicago-based actor, recently performed at Steppenwolf in The Doppelganger (an international farce) and The Rembrandt, and will be featured in this season's world premiere of Isaac Gomez's La Ruta, in a role written specifically for her.

The Players Club of Swarthmore opens its 2018-19 season with the Frank Loesser musical masterpiece Guys and Dolls Sept. 14-29, for ten performances at 614 Fairview Ave. in Swarthmore.  Directed by Anthony SanFilippo, this classic musical comedy about sinners and saints follows Nathan Detroit as he sets up the biggest craps game in town under the eye of the law and straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown.

FX Networks is partnering with Trejo's Tacos and Postmates to celebrate the series premiere of its highly-anticipated drama series Mayans M.C., the next chapter in Kurt Sutter's award-winning Sons of Anarchy saga. Mayans M.C. premieres Tuesday, September 4 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX.

The new political satire, THE WAR PARTY will have it's New York City premiere at The New York International Fringe Festival in October. Written by Vincent Delaney's and directed by Broadway veteran Don Stephenson (Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Goodspeed, Paper Mill Playhouse), the limited run will play October 14 - 23 in Manhattan.

The five circus artists of Machine de Cirque are making mayhem come alive on the New Victory stage this autumn. These recipients of the Trophee Charlie-Chaplin at the Festival International de Cirque Vaudreuil-Dorion dazzle with stunning feats and endless comedic madness. The New Victory Theater will host this quirky Canadian crew of daredevils from September 28 - October 7, 2018.
