Majestic Premieres Full Scale Immersive MEASURE FOR MEASURE

Majestic Repertory Theatre continues their third season in the Las Vegas Arts District with a full-scale immersive experience: MEASURE FOR MEASURE.

Put on your boogie shoes as Majestic Rep sweeps you back to Lost Wages, circa 1977, where vice runs rampant and disco is king! This is Majestic's largest Immersive Theatre event yet, inspired by one of William Shakepeare's most controversial plays.

THE STORY: Mayor Vincent "The Duke" Greyson takes a sabbatical and leaves Deputy Mayor Angelo Santoro in charge. The most virtuous public servant in town, Santoro implements all the ancient laws - tearing down casinos, brothels, and putting one particular favorite son on the chopping block for knocking up his fiance before the vows are exchanged. It's left to a young nun-in-training to sway Angelo's decision...but the results are not what she expects...

You'll be fully immersed in the seedy world of Lost Wages as we transform Majestic Rep into the various locales to explore. Don't expect to settle in to your seat as the action unfolds before you. During Measure for Measure, you're in the middle of the action, moving from room to room and interacting with the characters one-on-one. Only eighteen tickets will be sold to each performance (with multiple performances each night). During the experience,

groups will be split up as they explore the different threads of the plot while some lucky audience members will be pulled out into one-on-one scenes with certain characters.

MEASURE FOR MEASURE continues Majestic Rep's third season, which includes the dark comedy A PUBLIC READING OF AN UNPRODUCED SCREENPLAY ABOUT THE OF Walt Disney and the Vegas premiere of the Broadway musical SPRING AWAKENING, among other exciting productions.

Performances of MEASURE FOR MEASURE will be September 27 through October 21, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and Sundays at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Majestic Repertory Theatre is located at at 1217 S.
