World Premiere Of Mfoniso Udofia's IN OLD AGE Comes to Magic Theatre

Magic Theatre (Loretta Greco, Artistic Director and Cierra Cass, Interim Managing Director) announced today the complete cast of Mfoniso Udofia's World Premiere In Old Age, the Company's first production of 2019. In Old Age will be directed by Victor Malana Maog. Previews begin on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Magic Theatre's Fort Mason location (Fort Mason, 2 Marina Blvd., Building D, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94123). Magic Theatre Announces Martha Heasley Cox Virgin Play Festival

Magic Theatre (Loretta Greco, Artistic Director and Jaimie Mayer, Managing Director) has announced dates for 2018's Martha Heasley Cox Virgin Play Festival, which will take place December 9 - 14, 2018.  The public play readings kick off on Sunday, December 9 at 4:00 p.m. with THE FOUR CORNERS, a new play by Ashlin Halfnight (Magic Theatre's THE RESTING PLACE), followed by Ricardo Perez Gonzalez's DON'T EAT THE MANGOS at 7:00 pm.

A.C.T. And Magic Theatre Announce Partnership For Upcoming Productions From Mfoniso Udofia's Ufot Family Cycle

San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and Magic Theatre announced today that they will collaborate on a thrilling theatrical event, bringing two plays from Mfoniso Udofia's acclaimed Ufot Family Cycle to the stage. From February 15-March 31, 2019, A.C.T. will present Her Portmanteau at the Strand Theater (1127 Market St.) and from March 27­-April 21, 2019, the Magic Theatre (2 Marina Blvd., Building D) will present In Old Age. Through an exclusive package deal, patrons can purchase tickets for both plays, which can be seen in any order, for $40 each-for a savings of up to 45% off their individual ticket price. RHINOCEROS Closes A.C.T.'s 2018­–19 Season

Incoming American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Pam MacKinnon announced today that Eugene Ionesco's RHINOCEROS-translated by Derek Prouse and directed by two-time Tony Award winner Frank Galati-will be the final production of A.C.T.'s 2018-19 season.

Drury Lane Announces SOUTH PACIFIC Event With Author Todd S. Purdum

Drury Lane Theatre announces a one-night-only event with celebrated author Todd S. Purdum, in connection with its acclaimed production of the Tony Award-winning musical South Pacific. Purdum is the author of the new book SOMETHING WONDERFUL: A Rogers and Hammerstein's Broadway Revolution.
