The Last Call Series at Trustus has brought the highly popular Plan 9 From Outer Space to the Thigpen Main Stage in 2012. Now it wraps up its season with Kevin Bush's creative cabaret evening Off the Top of My Head this summer. Bush will bring special guests Terrance Henderson, Vicky Saye Henderson, Jason Stokes, and his popular rocking brother Eddie Bush. The show will kick off on June 21, and will be performed one last time on July 12th. Doors open at 10:45pm following the evening performance of Ain't Misbehavin', and the show begins at 11:15pm. Tickets are $15.00 and are sold at the door.

This show will mark the first show under the new leadership of Dewey Scott-Wiley and Larry Hembree as Artstic Director and Managing Director, respectively, as well as the South Carolina premiere of the show which closed on Broadway in January 2011. This hilarious show is a collection of three one-acts by famed Oscar-winning screenwriter Ethan Coen of The Coen Brothers (No Country for Old Men, O Brother Where Art Thou, and The Big Lebowski). The Trustus production is a unique theatrical event for Columbia theatre-goers where three directors will work with one cast to tell these three distinctive stories. Almost an Evening is part of Trustus' Late Night Series and runs in tandem with Avenue Q. The show opens on Wednesday, June 20th at 7:30pm.
