???????AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, the most awarded new musical of 2015 and winner of four Tony Awards, will play Las Vegas' The Smith Center for a one week engagement April 11 - April 16, 2017.

The North American tour of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, winner of four Tony Awards®, welcomes McGee Maddox in the role of Jerry Mulligan this April. Maddox, a former Principal Dancer with The National Ballet of Canada, replaces Garen Scribner who will play his final performance on Sunday, April 16 in Las Vegas.

Van Kaplan is a man of many talents. His producing credits include award-winning Broadway shows such as AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, ON YOUR FEET, EVITA, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN and MATILDA. Van is also on the board of the Broadway League and is the executive producer of Pittsburgh CLO. We had the honor of speaking with Van on day three of the THEatre ACCELERATOR. Pittsburgh CLO presents its 25th Anniversary production of A Musical Christmas Carol this month at the Byham Theater. This production will feature exciting new set elements and special effects.

The producers of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, the most awarded new musical of 2015 and winner of four Tony Awards, have announced the full cast for the upcoming national tour. As previously announced, Jerry Mulligan and Lise Dassin will be played by Garen Scribner and Sara Esty, who performed these leading roles on Broadway.

After last month's announcement that the Tony Award-winning musical An American in Paris would close on January 1, 2017 at Broadway's Palace Theatre, the musical's producers have just confirmed an earlier closing date.

The evening closed with former NHSMTA participant Eva Noblezada, who performed 'On My Own' and 'Do You Hear the People Sing' with the nominees. She will be reprising her critically-acclaimed London performance as Kim in the upcoming Broadway production of Miss Saigon. Click here to check out her brilliant performance!

Every year the nation's most talented high schoolers flock to the Minskoff Theatre for the NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS. This year's the eighth annual ceremony took place on June 27, hosted by Tony Award®-nominee Zachary Levi. The coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor was presented to Josh Stroblrepresenting The Jerry Herman Awards and Amina Faye representing The Blumey Awards.
