Arizona Broadway Theatre presents MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, directed by James Rio. Runs through December 29th.

Miracle on 34th Street comes to Center on the Square next month!

Director Linda Fortunato has cast Neil Friedman as Kris Kringle, Stella Rose Hoyt as Susan, Courtney Jones as Doris and Christopher Kale Jones as Fred for Theatre at the Center's Miracle On 34th Street: The Musical. Previews began November 15 with Opening Night on November 18 and a continued run through December 23. This production is sponsored in part by American Community Bank.

Second Street Players proudly present Miracle on 34th Street adapted by Mountain Community Theater from the novel by Valentine Davies. Performance dates are November 23rd, 24th, 25th , 30th December 1st and 2nd.

The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) tonight announced the winners of the 2018 Writers Guild Awards for outstanding achievement in writing for film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio/audio, promotional, and graphic animation categories at concurrent ceremonies at the Edison Ballroom in New York City and The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Screenwriter and LGBTQ rights activist Dustin Lance Black (Milk, When We Rise) is set to receive the Writers Guild of America West's 2018 Valentine Davies Award in recognition for his civil and human rights efforts, which have positively impacted the LGBTQ community.

I am a Scrooge when it comes to Christmas time. I'm that person who hasn't seen any holiday classic movies. I decorate enough to blend into society and usually only listen to Christmas music on rotation at your favorite theme park. So it takes a lot to warm the coldness of my heart and while Garden Theatre's MIRACLE ON 34th STREET did not turn me into a nostalgic mess, it did allow me to appreciate the meaning of the holidays.
