The production opened last night, December 14, at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street), and will play a limited engagement through Sunday, January 3. HOUSE OF CARDS, MAD MEN Stars Round Out Cast of The New Group's BURIED CHILD

The New Group has announced full casting for the company's production of Sam Shepard's Buried Child. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production will feature Larry Pine (Casa Valentina), Rich Sommer ('Mad Men'), Paul Sparks ('House of Cards') and Nat Wolff (Paper Towns), and as previously announced, Taissa Farmiga, Ed Harris and Amy Madigan. Previews begin February 2 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Wednesday, February 17. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through March 13 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with Cyril Tourneur's The Atheist's Tragedy, directed by Ben Prusiner, with live music by Alexander Sovronsky. The cast features Jeremy Bobb, Johnny Lee Davenport, Jacob Fishel, Ryan Garbayo, Philip Goodwin, Miriam A. Hyman, Whit Leyenberger, Kathryn Meisle, Bhavesh Patel, Raphael Nash Thompson, Alexander Sovronsky, Sam Tsoutsouvas, Alejandra Venancio, and Lisa Wolpe. A post-show discussion will follow, with Gail Kern Paster, Director Emerita of the Folger Library. Valentina Kozlova's Dance Conservatory Company returns to Symphony Space with Kozlova's delightful new production of Tchaikovsky's 'Nutcracker Winter Suite,' running slightly over one hour - two performances Saturday December 5 at 3 PM & 5:30 PM. Nathan Amzi will return to In The Heights for a limited two-week run, playing Piragua Guy from Monday 21 December 2015 to Sunday 3 January 2016. Nathan originated the role in the London production when it premiered at Southwark Playhouse in 2014. In The Heights recently extended its run at King's Cross Theatre for a second time, now booking for an additional 3 months until Sunday 10 April 2016.

Award-winning director & choreographer Arthur Pita returns to Sadler's Wells this Christmas with his magical dance theatre show for all the family, The Little Match Girl. Based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic story, this tale of a young street girl's hopes and dreams is beautifully told through dance, song and original live music. Following its successful sell-out season last Christmas, the show opens at the Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler's Wells on 12 December and runs through until 3 January 2016. Suitable for ages 5+.
