Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will kick off with a special benefit reading and party on Monday October 26th (7:30pm): George Etherege's The Man Of Mode, or, Sir Fopling Flutter, directed by Jesse Berger starring Michael Urie, along with Matthew Amendt, Suzanne Bertish, Angel Desai, Ryan Garbayo, Adam Green, Kathryn Meisle, Amelia Pedlow, Everett Quinton, Reg Rogers, Liv Rooth, Mary Testa, Marc Vietor, Spiff Weigand, and more. The Man of Mode will feature live music by Scott Killian. Libertine or liberator? London's leading rake wreaks hilarious havoc on high society in this - the original Restoration Comedy - with help from Sir Fopling Flutter, the first and greatest of the Restoration fops. An exclusive party with cast and special guests including Chukwudi Iwuji, Miriam Silverman, Matthew Rauch, and Laila Robins, among others, follows the benefit reading.

Harvey Fierstein's Casa Valentina has been critically acclaimed; in a cross-dressing colony a group of men leave their families, friends and city jobs behind to safely inhabit their female alter egos and release their inner woman. However, when given the choice to share their secret lives with the world, the group have to decide whether the freedom gained by the openness is worth the personal risk. Based on real-life events, this delightfully insightful and hilariously entertaining piece gives us a glimpse in to the life of these 'self-made women' as they search for acceptance and happiness in a high heel.

The producers of Casa Valentina today announce a gala for Stonewall which campaigns for the equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people across Britain. The gala will be on the evening of Thursday 24th September and will be hosted by Anthony Davis from Smooth Radio. After the performance, there will be a Q&A with Ayaz Manj and Peter Mercer from Stonewall along with the cast and producers. Casa Valentina is set in 1962 in the picturesque Catskills mountains of New York where a group of heterosexual men escape from the City to spend their weekend dressed as women. Included in the price of each ticket to the gala performance will be a donation to support the charitable works of Stonewall.

As part of the premiere of the second season of its highly-rated Super Series 'Senora Acero,' TELEMUNDO will present a special 'Noche de Acero' programming block tonight, September 22.

WICKED, the award-winning classic musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is delighted to welcome the American stage, television and film actor Tom McGowan to the role of The Wizard from tonight 21 September for a limited season until Saturday 12 March 2016. He will be making his West End debut.

Closer to Heaven, the musical by Jonathan Harvey and Pet Shop Boys, will return to the Union Theatre following its sell-out run in April 2015, playing from Wednesday 21 October to Saturday 28 November 2015.

FUNNY GIRL is getting a bit of a makeover! According to Daily Mail columnist Baz Bamigboye, KINKY BOOTS book writer Harvey Fierstein will rework the book for the upcoming (and already sold-out) London revival of Funny Girl, starring Sheridan Smith.
