Untitled Theater Company No. 61 is thrilled to announce the world premiere theatrical adaptation of Paul Auster's seminal novel CITY OF GLASS, the first of his acclaimed New York Trilogy, adapted and directed by UTC61 Artistic Director Edward Einhorn. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre has announced its 2015/2016 Season, the company's 23rd. The critically-acclaimed and award-winning Off-Broadway company that "reveals, reclaims and reimagines great plays of literary merit" will offer two works that delve into the notion of choice, free will, faith, assumption and morality. 

HERE announces its 2015-2016 producing season, featuring three HERE Resident Artist productions, an Artistic Director production, the fourth annual PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now festival and HERE's yearly CULTUREMART festival, which gives audiences a first look at new work in process from artists in the HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP).  The multidisciplinary works in HERE's 2015-2016 season represent the culmination of commissions and developmental residencies of up to three years through HARP, and/or the Dream Music Puppetry Program.

Strawdog Theatre Company and Artistic Director Hank Boland announce that Strawdog Theatre Company will be leaving its home at 3829 North Broadway Ave. at the conclusion of its 2015 - 2016 28th Season in June 2016. Real estate developments on the block have caused the move for the Company. Strawdog has been at the current location, both its administrative offices and theatre spaces, for 25 years, since its third production Temptation by Vaclav Havel in 1990.

An Anonymous Contributor, an original solo show about the shadowy world of academic ghostwriting, is returning to Stage Left Studio (214 W 30th Street, 6th floor) this June before touring to the Edmonton Fringe Festival in Canada in August. Performance dates for Stage Left are this weekend, June 26th, 27th, and 28th at 7:30 pm, while the Fringe in Edmonton takes place on August 13th-23rd. The show is written and performed by Adriana Jones and directed by Patrice Miller.

Single Carrot Theatre is closing out its 8th season with Blind From Here, by SCT Ensemble Member Alix Fenhagen. A world premiere, Blind From Here follows a 90s band on their quest for greatness, and the lead singer Elsa's personal journey of coming to terms with her own dreams in an uncertain future.
