McCarter Theatre Center Artistic Director and Resident Playwright Emily Mann is pleased to announce the lineup for the 2018-2019 Theater Series.

GRAMMY Award-winning producer Fred Rister has announced the release of his final single, “I Want A Miracle (ft. Sam Martin & Chris Willis),” out today via Parametic Records and accompanied by an official music video (WATCH HERE). All proceeds from the single will benefit the Kidney Cancer Association.

The best theatre education I ever received was not in a classroom. It wasn't on a stage either. What I know about the theatre I gained from the years I spent volunteering as an usher. I started volunteering because I wanted to see plays and musicals that I couldn't afford to see, and somehow along the way I learned more than I ever thought I would.

Today the Edinburgh International Festival unveils its 2018 programme. The International Festival runs Friday 3 to Monday 27 August. The event welcomes 2,750 artists from 31 nations to perform in Scotland's capital city and attracts visitors from all over the world, with audiences expected to travel from over 80 nations to be part of Edinburgh's global celebration of culture.

The Living Libretto: Opera in Eden gives audiences a first glimpse at three new one-act operas being written by first year resident artists in American Lyric Theater's Composer Librettist Development Program (CLDP)

The ensembles of the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra (FWYO) will usher in the Spring with two exciting concerts featuring a brilliant combination of recognizable audience favorites and thrilling new works. The Philharmonic, String, and Junior String Orchestras will take to the stage on Sunday, March 4, 2018, for a concert that includes music by Beethoven, Brahms, and Liszt, and features the winners of FWYO's recent concerto competition. The principal Youth Orchestra ensemble will then close out the month with a special concert on Sunday, March 25, 2018, under the baton of Spanish guest conductor Vicente Ariño Pellicer.

Centaur Theatre proudly announces an exciting season of hit plays, ancillary initiatives, and special celebratory events to mark its golden anniversary. From its 1968 birth in the heart of the city, Centaur has grown to become a beacon for outstanding professional English-language theatre that speaks to the universal spirit while reflecting the Canadian, and especially the Montreal perspective. This is the first season programmed by Centaur's Artistic and Executive Director, Eda Holmes, and the stellar line-up reaffirms Centaur's standing as THE urban English-language theatre in Quebec.

Malmo Opera's production of Verdi's opera masterpiece, RIGLETTO is premiering Saturday next week in Malmo (March 24th). The show is known for being one of the most popular operas and is based upon an earlier play by the famous French author Victor Hugo called 'Le roi s'amuse' (The King Amuses Himself). Hugo has a history of writing plays and novels that take on the establishment. Another obvious, similarly-themed, tale is Hugo's classic 'Les Miserables.'

Ellen's friend Jimmy Kimmel credits the staff at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles with saving his son Billy's life when he was a newborn. To honor him, Ellen surprised Jimmy with a very special gift at the hospital.

ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE (EST) (William Carden, Artistic Director, Sarah McLellan, Executive Director) and The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation (Doron Weber, Vice-President, Programs) announced today the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of BUMP, written by Chiara Atik (Five Times in One Night) and directed by Claudia Weill(Girlfriends). Part of the EST/Sloan Science & Technology Project (Graeme Gillis, Program Director; Linsay Firman, Associate Director), BUMP begins previews at EST's Curt Dempster Theatre (549 W. 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019) on May 9, 2018, with an opening night set for May 17, for a limited run through June 4, 2018.

Dutch DJ and producer Dannic has been in a rich vein of form recently, demonstrated by a standout start to 2018 with his reimagining of Silvio Ecomo's classic track 'In No Dip'. This time he's back, teaming up with Romanian superstar INNA, who provides upbeat vocals on 'Stay'. The timing is perfect for the track, as it provides a sunny backdrop to will in the spring sunshine and banish the last of winter's bite.

The Village Players of Birmingham opens its 4th production of its 95th season with James Lapine's tribute to a life in the theatre; Act One. The play is based on playwright Moss Hart's autobiography of the same title.

The UK tour of Gershwin musical Crazy for You has reached its London leg, and is still in fine, energetic form. Originally a Depression-era work, it joins retro pleasures like 42nd Street in providing much-needed Brexit escapism: a world in which all our problems can be solved with tap and jazz hands.

In the West End's first ever dual-language production, Moliere's classic comedy re-imagines Tartuffe as a radical American evangelist who uproots the life of a French film tycoon in Hollywood.

Tony Award winner Billy Crudup begins performances tomorrow in the Vineyard Theatre production of Harry Clarke, produced by Audible Inc., the world's largest producer and provider of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment. Harry Clarke is written by Obie Award winner David Cale (Lillian) and directed by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman (Violet).
