Rodney Chaise Williams won the Best Actor Award at Monday's NAACP Theatre Awards, which took place at the Directors Guild of America

Laurence Fishburne, Valarie Pettiford, Usher Raymond and director George C. Wolfe are among the winners of the 17th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards.

On Monday, February 19, 2007, at The Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills/Hollywood chapter of the NAACP will honor and celebrate excellence in African American theatre.
