NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group and Hyperion Books announced today that they will publish 'Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America,' a book written from the perspective of show character Leslie Knope (portrayed by Emmy Award nominee Amy Poehler). Knope serves as Deputy Director of the Parks and Recreation department for Pawnee, Indiana on the hit NBC series 'Parks and Recreation' (Thursdays, 8:30-9 p.m. ET).

Genesis, NBC Acquire US Rights to 'Fireworks International's Heartland'

Genesis International Television & Film has acquired the U.S. rights to Fireworks International's Heartland, the top-rated family drama based on a series of books set in the U.S., and cleared it on stations covering more than 94% of [the country] for the 2010-11 season. The CBS, Tribune, Sinclair, Hearst, Lin, Meredith, Nexstar and Belo station groups are among the major broadcasters acquiring the series, which will appear mostly in weekend primetime slots starting this fall, announced Genesis President Wayne Lepoff and Fireworks International President Greg Phillips.

NBC Universal And JTMG Announce New Deals For MINUTE TO WIN IT

Heading into this year's Licensing Show, NBC Universal Television Consumer Products Group and Joy Tashjian Marketing Group, LLC (JTMG) have finalized a licensing agreement with Mattel, Inc. for the hit primetime series, 'Minute to Win it.' As part of the deal, Mattel has signed on to create board games that are expected to hit retail in the fourth quarter of 2010. JTMG is the agency of record for NBC Universal Television Consumer Products Group.
