Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced details for new episodes of MTA Radio Plays along with several free online events in February. The activities highlight new and necessary theatrical voices while also deepening connections between audiences and artists in new and meaningful ways.

Goodman Theatre will participate in the Digital Premiere of seven winning 10-minute plays of #ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence—a national short play competition for middle and high school students.

The cast of Between the Two Humps will include Peppermint (Head Over Heels) as Gabriel, Outer Critic’s Circle Honoree and Drama League and AUDELCO Award nominee Portia (Stew) as God, Noah Robbins (The Trial of the Chicago 7, MCC’s Punk Rock) as Joseph, and Lortel and AUDELCO Award nominee Kara Young (MCC’s All the Natalie Portmans) as Mary.

The Movement Theatre Company has announced a second round of 1MOVE: DES19NED BY... commissions for theatrical designers, co-curated by Dede Ayite, Stacey Derosier, and Tony Award winner Paul Tazewell. This round of 1MOVE will amplify the work of Black designers and creative collaborators.

Parity Productions, the New York based theatre company dedicated to producing new work and filling at least 50% of the creative positions (playwrights, directors, and designers) with women and/or trans and gender nonconforming (TGNC) artists, has announced the full cast and crew for their world premiere production of Mirrors by Azure D. Osborne-Lee, a 2018 Parity Commission Winner, co-produced by India Blake/IB Productions and Cecelia Johnson/Deep End Productions, and directed by Parity's founder and Artistic Director, Ludovica Villar-Hauser, premiering at Next Door @ NYTW this February 29 through March 22.

Moxie Arts NY continues its third season with From A to Double D by Mandy Murphy. The production will run from January 23rd-February 2nd, 2020 at IRT Theater.
