Windy City Playhouse to Debut Immersive Production SOUTHERN GOTHIC

Windy City Playhouse announces an expansion in programming with a world-premiere immersive theatrical production, 'Southern Gothic,' premiering February 7, 2018 and running through April 1, 2018 as a stand-alone production following the 2017 season.

New Temptations Musical AIN'T TOO PROUD Extends at Berkeley Rep

Due to an overwhelming demand, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical of Ain't Too Proud-The Life and Times of The Temptations will extend for two additional weeks. Originally scheduled to close on October 8, the popular musical will now run through Sunday, October 22.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full casting and creative team for the world premiere of AIN'T TOO PROUD-THE TEMPTATIONS MUSICAL. The musical stage production will be directed by Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. Berkeley Rep presents the show by special arrangement with Ira Pittelman and Tom Hulce (American Idiot, Spring Awakening).

True Colors Theatre Announces Resignation of Executive Director

Artistic Director Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company announce the departure of Executive Director Jennifer Dwyer McEwen after more than nine years with the company. McEwen submitted her resignation in May after accepting a new role with the Town of Hilton Head as its new Culture and Arts Network Director.

True Colors Theatre Company (Kenny Leon, Co-Founding Artistic Director) and Jujamcyn Theaters (Jordan Roth, President; Paul Libin, Executive Vice President; Jack Viertel, Senior Vice President) are proud to announce the 9th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition will take place on Monday, May 1st at 7:00 p.m. at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street).
