Casting has been announced for the world premiere of BREATHING TIME, a new play by "House of Cards" creator Beau Willimon, directed by Aaron Rossini and presented Off-Broadway by Fault Line Theatre. The cast will feature Whitney Conkling, Craig Wesley Divino, Lee Dolson, John Racioppo, Shannon Marie Sullivan and Molly Thomas. Preview performances begin Friday, March 21 prior to an official press opening of Thursday, March 27 at Teatro Iati (64 East 4th Street) in Manhattan.
Fault Line Theatre will present two world-premiere's in early 2014 - Crystal Finn's THE FAIRE, about the behind the scenes lives of five Renaissance Faire performers in Northern California from February 7 through March 2 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street) in Manhattan; followed by BREATHING TIME by Beau Willimon ("Farragut North" and Netflix's "House of Cards" with Kevin Spacey) from March 21 through April 13 at Teatro Iati (64 East 4th Street) in Manhattan. Michael Perlman, whose critically acclaimed NYFringe solo show, Flying on the Wing, was named Outstanding Solo Show of 2006, debuts his new ensemble play, From White Plains, produced by Fault Line Theatre at the CSV Cultural Center from tonight, May 31st through June 10th. Perlman's solo show powerfully and imaginatively dealt with the playwright's personal struggles dealing with Stickler's Syndrome and coming to terms with his sexuality.

Theatre Aspen's upcoming summer season, reported Artistic Director Paige Price. The award-winning regional theatre unveiled the brand new Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park on June 24th with two musicals and a comedy. The theatre's 28th season of summer repertory features the regional premiere of Becky's New Car, by native Coloradan Steven Dietz, starring Emmy- and Tony-nominee Sandy Duncan. Opening July 7th is the beloved musical Annie, by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music) and Martin Charnin (lyrics), and the new musical Vices: A Love Story, (story by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid, and music and lyrics by Susan Draus, Everett Bradley, Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid). Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announces that its inaugural production, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, extends through December 30, 2010, adding six performances to its run in the iconic Fichandler Stage.
As Arena Stage begins a new life in its renovated home at the Mead Center for American Theater in Southwest D.C., it opens its inaugural season with a classic American musical that similarly embraces life on a new frontier. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! is the first production at the Mead Center and features an all-star cast under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! runs October 22-December 26, 2010 in the Fichandler Stage.
