Turn to Flesh Productions presents the world premiere of Cupid & Psyche: A New Play in Blank Verse written and directed by Emily C. A. Snyder running at The Barrow Group Theatre beginningFebruary 13th. The cast features James Parenti, Erin Nelson, Laura Hill, Gwen Sisco, Parker Madison, Stanley Burturla, Laura Iris Hill, Kelly Zekas, Patrick Marran and Jon Adam Ross.

Natascha McElhone will play Alex Forrest in the world stage premiere of Fatal Attraction. Written by James Dearden and directed by Trevor Nunn, Fatal Attraction will open at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 25 March 2014, with previews on 8 March and is booking to 21 June 2014. Designs are by Rob Jones with lighting by Paul Pyant and sound by Paul Groothuis.

The Daily Mail writes that Natascha McElhone will star in the upcoming stage adaptation of FATAL ATTRACTION, which originally featured Glenn Close on the big screen in 1987 in the role of 'Alex', an unhinged woman who becomes obsessed with a man after a weekend fling.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20, 2013 ahead of an official opening on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. Rehearsals begin Monday, January 13 in New York for Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece LES MISERABLES, which returns to Broadway beginning Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre. The official opening night for LES MISERABLES is Sunday, March 23. The cast of the new LES MIZ features Ramin Karimloo (West End and current acclaimed Toronto star of LES MISERABLES, and The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies in London) as Jean Valjean; Will Swenson (Tony Award-nominated star of Broadway's Hair and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Javert; Caissie Levy (West End and Broadway star of Ghost and Hair and Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked) as Fantine; Nikki M. The Acting Company will present a benefit staged reading of The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard at 7 pm on Monday, January 13 at the Pearl Theatre, 555 West 42nd Street (9th-10th Avenues). Sol Children Theatre, Evening Star Productions, and the companies' artistic director Rosalie Grant are not resting on any laurels. Ruth Wilson (Saving Mr Banks, Anna Christie, A Streetcar Named Desire, Luther, The Lone Ranger) will star in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth will act in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and will make her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Train will run for a limited four-week season from tonight, 6 December - 30 December, with press nights on the 12 & 13 December. Design is by Richard Kent, with lighting by Neil Austin and original composition and sound design by Alex Baranowski. The El. Train is being produced by Found Productions.

Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara announces its 2013-14 Season in its new home, the New Vic, beginning with the hit Broadway musical A Little Night Music, inspired by the Ingmar Bergman film 'Smiles of a Summer Night. Directed by Ensemble Executive Artistic Director Jonathan Fox, A Little Night Music features one of Stephen Sondheim's best-known songs, 'Send in the Clowns.' A star-studded cast featuring Piper Laurie, Stephanie Zimbalist and Patrick Cassidy will christen the stage at the New Vic.

TheaterWorks will present the holiday World Premiere Christmas on the Rocks -- an offbeat collection of twisted holiday tales by multiple nationally known playwrights. These darkly humorous stories run tonight, December 3 through 22, 2013.

The UK Daily Mail is reporting that Richard Eyre's Chichester Festival production of THE PAJAMA GAME will move to London's West End, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in May of 2014. No official dates or casting has yet been announced.

Acting royalty visits THEATER TALK this week, with the appearance of two British living legends, Dame Eileen Atkins and Sir Michael Gambon, currently in New York through December 8 with the first-ever theatrical staging of playwright Samuel Beckett's 1957 radio play, All That Fall. This episode of THEATER TALK, co-hosted Michael Riedel of the New York Post and producer Susan Haskins, premieres in the New York metropolitan area Friday, Nov. 29 (2013) at 1 AM (Saturday morning) on Thirteen/PBS, and continues on CUNY TV* Saturday at 8:30 PM, Sunday at 12:30 PM, and Monday at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM.

St. James Theatre & Barry Satchwell-Smith have just announced that one of Britain's most popular musical stars, Marti Webb, will perform the original production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black's classic Tell Me On a Sunday from 7-12 January 2014. Tickets go on sale on Friday 22 November. Press night is on 8 January 2014.
