Actress and Singer Joan Ryan, who boasts an impressive four octave range will make her long awaited return to the NYC cabaret stage with her self-titled show JOAN RYAN LIVE, written and directed by Andrew MacBean (associate director with Trevor Nunn on Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Aspects of Love" and "Sunset Boulevard") with musical direction from Todd Schroeder (musical director for Sam Harris, Jason Alexander) and featuring special guest Tituss Burgess ('30 Rock,' JERSEY BOYS) on Saturday, October 26 at 11pm at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) in Manhattan.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles(R) (BAFTA Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that award winning actor and comedian Rob Brydon will host the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards presented by BBC AMERICA. In addition, BAFTA LA will honor Golden Globe(R) Award winning and Emmy nominated actor, Idris Elba, with the BAFTA LA Britannia Humanitarian Award at the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. For the second year in a row, the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards will be broadcast on BBC AMERICA, airing in primetime November 10 at 9:00pm ET and on the U.K.'s Sky Movies on November 11, as a two-hour special including footage of the Britannia Awards Red Carpet.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) proudly reveals this season's Joe A. Callaway Award winners for Direction and Choreography from more than 200 eligible productions in the 2012 - 2013 New York City theatre season. This year's awards will be presented to Ruben Santiago-Hudson for his direction of The Piano Lesson produced by Signature Theatre and Marlo Hunter for her choreography of Unlock'd produced by Prospect Theater Company. The winners join previous Joe A. Callaway Award Winners including Susan Stroman (1991), Harold Prince (1993), Julie Taymor (1996), Jack O'Brien (2001), Bartlett Sher (2002), Daniel Sullivan (2004), John Tiffany (2012) and Steven Hoggett (2012).

Ruth Wilson (Saving Mr Banks, Anna Christie, A Streetcar Named Desire, Luther, The Lone Ranger) will star in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth will act in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and will make her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Train will run for a limited four-week season from 6 December - 30 December, with press nights on the 12 & 13 December. Design is by Richard Kent, with lighting by Neil Austin and original composition and sound design by Alex Baranowski. The El. Train is being produced by Found Productions. Further casting will be announced shortly.

John Rando (Urinetown, A Christmas Story, Lincoln Centers's Carousel, All in the Timing) will direct Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead for The Acting Company," announced its producer, Margot Harley. Tom Stoppard's TONY-winning play will run off-Broadway in rotating repertory with Hamlet, directed by Ian Belknap, beginning in January 2014. Prior to New York, Hamlet will play a fall tour of western states beginning at Cal State-Northridge. A national tour of both plays, including an extended stay at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, begins in February. This is the 41st season and tour for The Acting Company, the sixth tour in association with the Guthrie.
