The Sydney's Theatre community gathered at the 2015 SYDNEY THEATRE AWARDS tonight for the 11th annual celebration of the best of the past year's work as judged by The Sydney Reviewers.

There has been an increased interest for tickets to behemoth, long-running musical LES MISERABLES (LES MIS) since its major producer Cameron Mackintosh and Philippine partner Concertus Manila announced last September that the acclaimed Australian touring production of the the revamped 25th anniversary production of LES MIS, which must close this Sunday, January 17, at the Lyric Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane will transfer to The Theatre at Solaire, Solaire Resort and Casino in Manila starting Friday, March 11. Due to the high demand for tickets, which can be purchased at TicketWorld.com.ph, Mr. Mackintosh and Concertus Manila have released a new set of tickets that will extend performances in Manila until Sunday, April 17, thus far.

The Glugs proudly announce the nominees of the 2015 Glugs Theatre Awards to be presented Monday 1 February 2016 at Sydney's Castlereagh Boutique Hotel.

Nominations were announced today for the Sydney Theatre Awards for 2015, which will be presented at a gala ceremony on Monday January 18, 2016 at 6pm at the Paddington RSL.

18 months after it opened in Melbourne, the original Australian production of Cameron Mackintosh's reimagined edition of the 30-year-old megamusical LES MISERABLES officially opened at Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC) largest venue, the 2,000 seat Lyric Theatre, last November 13.

Based on the 1988 cult film Heathers that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, HEATHERS THE MUSICAL makes its Brisbane debut in the Playhouse, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) from 9 to 17 January 2016.

Featuring everyone's favourite diva, Trevor Ashley, LIZA'S BACK! (is broken) explores what would happen if Liza Minelli performed all the great Broadway roles she never got to play, and can be seen at Arts Centre Melbourne's Fairfax Studio from 20 - 31 January 2015.

HEATHERS THE MUSICAL now playing at Hayes Theatre Co has received rave reviews from all members of the media.  The season must close on Sunday 9 August however one extra show has been added at 1.30pm on the last day.

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of Boublil & Schonberg's legendary musical will depart Sydney on October 18th before storming the barricade at Brisbane's Lyric Theatre in November. Final tickets for the Sydney season are on sale today July 15th from Ticketmaster.

In celebration of the upcoming Bastille Day on the 14th of July, Cameron Mackintosh and the Ambassador of France, H.E. Mr Christophe Lecourtier hosted a celebratory performance of LES MISERABLES. Whilst BWW-Sydney reviewed the opening night on 26th March 2015, it was wonderful to get to see the work again, from a new perspective of a different seat in the theatre.
