James Braly's LIFE IN A MARITAL INSTITUTION has been announced as one of the closing night shows of the upcoming New York Comedy Festival. The critically acclaimed one-man show, written and performed by This American Life contributor James Braly, returns to New York City from its national tour for the first time since its sold-out Off-Broadway run. The special performance tonight, November 11, 2012 at Stage 72 (formerly the Triad Theatre) will be followed by a talk-back with producer Meredith Vieira.

Hamilton will be bringing laughs to the Comix At Foxwoods stage for four comedy shows tonight, Nov.1 at 8 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 3 at both 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Critically-acclaimed comedienne, Margaret Cho, will make her return to Foxwoods on Feb. 1, 2013 at 8 p.m. to showcase her brand new stand-up show, "MOTHER," at Fox Theater. Cho's latest project offers up an untraditional look at motherhood, including how we look at maternal figures and strong women in queer culture. Considered her edgiest show to date, "MOTHER," is filled with riotous observations on race, drugs, celebrities, culture, politics and sexuality - gay, straight and everything in between - and of course, nothing is sacred.

Comedy fans will be treated to an evening filled with some of Hollywood's biggest comedic superstars appearing and performing at Spike TV's 'Eddie Murphy: One Night Only,' the first-ever televised tribute to the comedy legend. Joining the all-star talent roster, which features many of Murphy's peers and co-stars, includes Jamie Foxx, Adam Sandler, Tyler Perry, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Nick Nolte. In addition, The Roots will perform throughout the evening as the show's house band. 'Eddie Murphy: One Night Only' will tape on Saturday, November 3 at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles and will air on Wednesday, November 14.

Multi award-winning comedian, Paul Mecurio, and monthly favorite act, Dueling Pianos, will welcome in 2013 at Comix At Foxwoods with an evening of dancing, drinking and fun, lasting until 3 a.m. The New Year's Eve festivities will begin at 9 p.m., when Mecurio, will showcase his hilarious routine on the Comix stage, followed by Dueling Pianos, who will hit the stage at 10:30 p.m. New Year's Eve party favors, a champagne toast and a post-midnight dessert buffet will follow the two exceptional comedy performances. 2013 Comix Countdown tickets can be purchased in advance for $50 (general admission) or $125 (VIP admission). Buy your tickets early, as prices are subject to change as New Year's Eve approaches. A two drink minimum applies to all tickets. This show is intended for mature audiences only.

COMEDY CENTRAL and Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions welcomes an all-star cast for its biennial autism benefit, NIGHT OF TOO MANY STARS: AMERICA COMES TOGETHER FOR AUTISM PROGRAMS. Taping on Saturday, October 13 from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, the benefit for Autism programs, schools, and services will feature Stewart hosting an evening filled with live performances, sketches and short films from a roster of comedy all-stars. COMEDY CENTRAL previously announced that international superstar Katy Perry joined the all-star roster of celebrities participating in the network's biennial autism benefit hosted by Jon Stewart. In honor of this charity, Perry will treat the audience to a one-time only special performance of 'Firework' at NIGHT OF TOO MANY STARS: America Comes Together for Autism Programs.' Broadway's Nina Arianda guest starred on last night's episode of the NBC comedy 30 ROCK, which also featured a special guest appearance by OlympIan Ryan Lochte.
