A spokesperson for Jimmy Kimmel LIVE has announced that the opening night for Kimmel's "Brooklyn Week," has officially been canceled due to Hurrican Sandy. LIVE was set to film at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music tonight.

Tonight's guests were to include Chris Rock, Kelly Ripa, and musical guest Alicia Keys.

“We are hopeful to be back on the air tomorrow night with Howard Stern, Tracy Morgan, and ShaRon Jones and the Dap Kings,” they said.

Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs every weeknight (12:00-1:06 a.m., ET) following “Nightline” and features a diverse lineup of guests that include celebrities, athletes, musical acts, comedians and human interest subjects, along with comedy bits and a house band.
