Stagecrafters announces its 2017-18 season, themed 'Celebration of Friendship, Family and Theatre,' featuring ten shows among its Main Stage, 2nd Stage and Youth Theatre offerings.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Martha Lavey, ensemble member and former Steppenwolf Artistic Director, passed away today due to complications from a stroke suffered last Wednesday, April 19.

Superior Donuts, running at the Omaha Community Playhouse May 5 - June 6, 2017 in the Howard Drew Theatre, takes place in the historic Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, where Arthur Przybyszewski runs the donut shop that has been in his family for 60 years. Theater Company completes its successful 2016- 2017 season with Tracy Letts' August: Osage County, a drama that scored a rare trifecta, winning a Tony, a Drama Desk Award, and the 2008 Pulitzer Prize of Drama. The NTC production is directed by Terry McGovern and Nan Ayers. It is produced by Kim Bromley and Sandy Lelich. August: Osage County runs May 19-June 4 at the NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Drive in.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company has shared that Artistic Director Anna D.
