Due to a critical illness in her family, Casey Husion has withdrawn from directing Something's Afoot at the Goodspeed Opera House. Vince Pesce, originally choreographer of the production, will now also direct the show. During the planning process, Ms. Hushion, who conceived this production, worked closely with Mr. Pesce as she consulted with the authors, chose the creative team and cast the show. Everyone in the Goodspeed family wishes the best to Ms. Hushion and her family while we welcome Mr. Pesce as director.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company continues celebrating its 25th Anniversary Season with the second installment of the Bard's Broadway series with the Tony Award winning musical Two Gentlemen of Verona (a rock opera) performing January 27-29, 2012 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). Galt MacDermot, John Guare and Mel Shapiro come together to create the music, lyrics and book that add a spicy, funky twist to Shakespeare's work of the same name.
Powerhouse Broadway veteran Tovah Feldshuh stars in Gypsy at Bristol Riverside Theatre as part of its 25th Anniversary Season on December 6-January 15. During the final week of Goodspeed Musicals' slick and sexy hit City of Angels, the company participated in a nightly audience appeal. To everyone's delight, this year's fundraising garnered more than $6,500 for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
