Park Square Theatre Offers Three Public Performances in March

Park Square Theatre presents its annual production of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, based on one of the 20th Century's most inspiring and enduring narratives. The story comes to life in three public performances March 1 & 3 at 7:30 p.m., and March 31 at 1 p.m. at Park Square Theatre, 20 W. Seventh Place, Saint Paul. Daytime performances for students run February 27 through May 18, 2012.

Park Square Theatre Presents AMERICAN FAMILY

Park Square Theatre presents American Family, a world premiere commission, produced in association with Carlyle Brown & Company, March 16 through April 7. Marion McClinton, who directed his first play in 1981 in the old Park Square Court building, will direct this new work by playwright Carlyle Brown-who will also act in the production.

Guthrie Theatre Opens A CHRISTMAS CAROL

The Guthrie Theater last week opened its six-week run of Crispin Whittell's adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, the 37th year the play has been presented at the Guthrie but only the second year under Artistic Director Joe Dowling's direction.

GOD OF CARNAGE Cast Welcomes Play's Translator Christopher Hampton

Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Terrence McNally's MASTER CLASS, directed by Stephen Wadsworth, opens tonight at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Guthrie Theatre's GOD OF CARNAGE Opens 5/28

Jennifer Blagen, Chris Carlson, Tracey Maloney and Bill McCallum will duke it out this summer in God of Carnage, opening May 28 2011, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.
