MacDowell and Urban Word Present An Evening Of Afro-Latinx Poetry

On Saturday, February 29, The MacDowell Colony joins Urban Word NYC to present MacDowell Fellow and award-winning poet John Murillo with two emerging teen poets from Urban Word NYC, Jennifer Martinez and James Lherisson, in a reading and discussion to celebrate Afro-Latinx poets at MacDowell NYC in Chelsea.

Shakespeare's Globe Announces Full Casting for Globe on Tour Summer 2020

Shakespeare's Globe has announced the full cast for Globe on Tour, directed by Brendan O'Hea. The company of eight actors will once again offer audiences around the world a trio of plays, which this year explore the relationship between humankind and Mother Nature. Audiences will cast their votes for either A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It or The Tempest, each of which explores the natural world and its great potential for abundance and transformation.

American Shakespeare Center Has Announced Principal Casting For Marquee Repertory Season

American Shakespeare Center launches the 2020 Marquee Repertory season this summer navigating the waters of Venice, the glittering locale of Shakespeare's Othello and The Merchant of Venice and Ben Jonson's Volpone. Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced casting for Artistic Director SIMON GODWIN's directorial debut at the Theatre-a restaging of his recent acclaimed production of Timon of Athens, a co-production with Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA), produced in association with The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
