ENJOY Extends Off-Broadway Through May 1

ENJOY -- the comedy by the renowned, contemporary Japanese playwright Toshiki Okada -- will extend one week Off-Broadway through May 1, it has been announced by The Play Company, whose production of the play at 59E59 Theaters has enjoyed considerable critical and popular acclaim since it began previews on March 27 and opened April 6, 2010.

This week, off-Broadway's The Play Company brought together some of NYC's top chefs and theater artists for its seventh annual gala Cabaret Gourmet 2010, a unique evening hosted by Bryan Batt, the beloved Broadway performer and star of the hit television series 'Mad Men.' The evening featured a performance by Tony-nominee Barbara Walsh and savory and sweet dishes prepared by chefs from several of the city's most celebrated restaurants.

On March 8, 2010, the award-winning The Play Company will present its annual Cabaret Gourmet Gala. In an evening billed as a celebration of food and entertainment, New York City's finest chefs will sample dishes from their restaurants to performances by entertainment's most exciting talent. A silent auction, now open online, will conclude the evening. The event will take place at the American Airline's Theatre Penthouse in Times Square from 7:00pm - 9:30pm.
