Sheffield Theatres and Orange Tree Theatre present Deborah Bruce's The Distance. Charlotte Gwinner directs Michelle Duncan (Bea), Charlotte Emmerson (Alex), Daniel Hawksford (Dewi), Charlotte Lucas(Kate), Timothy Knightley (Simon), Steven Meo (Vinnie) and Joshua Sinclair-Evans (Liam). The production opens tonight 3 November, with previews from 29 October, and runs until 14 November at Sheffield Theatres, ahead of a run at Orange Tree Theatre from 26 November to 19 December.

Jonathan Coe's The Rotters' Club, Gareth Farr's The Quiet House and Tom Wells' Folk will receive their stage premieres at Birmingham Repertory Theatre next year. Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has today released production images for Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, which is currently playing at the iconic theatre for a limited run until 11 July.  Check out a first look below!

When Roger Mortimer and Debrorah Edgington's production of Athol Fugard's My Children! My Africa! opened at The Tristan Bates Theatre in April this year, it was greeted with universal and unqualified praise.  It also picked up four Off West End Nominations, which included one for each member of the cast.  This summer it transfers to Trafalgar Studios for a full four week run.
