Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will present the eighth season of its popular YOUNG COMPANY, which creates classical works specially tailored for young audiences. This season's production will focus on Shakespeare's Macbeth, and will run from March 8 through March 22 at Classic Stage Company (136 East 13th Street). Columbia University M.F.A. students and professional Equity actors will be featured in Shakespeare's darkest tragedy. Directed by Tony Speciale (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Macbeth will be presented in a 90-minute abridged version specifically geared toward student and family audiences. Tickets are $25, and $20 for students and seniors.

The musical features a score by Harnick, as well as English Adaptation and Additional Dialogue. The reading will be directed by David Glenn Armstrong, with musical direction by Amanda Morton.
