Colin Quinn: Red State Blue State, a CNN Original Series Special Presentation written by and starring stand-up comedian Colin Quinn, will debut on Monday, May 27, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CNN. In the hour-long presentation of his critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway show, Quinn brings the funny tackling the absurdities, hypocrisies and calamities on both sides of the political divide.

SHOWTIME is bringing fans more DESUS & MERO, expanding the show to two nights a week for a special summer run. The network's first-ever late-night talk show will air two nights a week starting Monday May 6 and will air Monday and Thursday nights at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT all summer long, up until its August hiatus beginning Monday, August 5. The ABC Television Network has ordered a second season of freshman hit comedy “The Conners,” Karey Burke, president, ABC Entertainment, announced today. Ranking as television's No. 1 new comedy this season in Total Viewers (9.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.2/10), the self-starting ABC freshman led Tuesday's 8:00 p.m. half-hour in Adults 18-49 by 16% over its nearest competitor. During its first season, “The Conners” improved its time period by 33% in Total Viewers and by 22% in Adults 18-49, posting 5-year highs for ABC in the half-hour.

SHOWTIME has released the series premiere of its first ever late-night talk show DESUS & MERO for free across multiple platforms. In the premiere episode, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero welcomed fellow Bronx native Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) as the first guest in studio.

HBO has given a series order to A Black Lady Sketch Show, according to Deadline. The half-hour sketch comedy stars creator Robin Thede, who also executive produces alongside Issa Rae.

Tracy Oliver's “The First Wives Club” series will now air on BET instead of Paramount Network as originally planned, according to Variety.

Comedy Central today premiered the trailer for its new scripted series, The Other Two, premiering on Thursday, January 24 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT following the final season premiere of Broad City. Amazon ordered a pilot for a Los Angeles-set bilingual comedy series, according to Variety.

Ahead of the midterm elections on Tuesday, November 6, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee will air a bonus episode on Monday, November 5 covering local political races to make one final plea to viewers to please, for the love of God, vote. On Wednesday, November 7, the show will unpack the results of the elections and air footage taken at the polls. Both episodes will air on TBS at 10:30pm ET/PT.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces new leadership positions. Joining Artistic Director Heidi Stillman and Executive Director Rachel L. The new Paramount Network today announced a full series order for 'Emily in Paris' (working title) from Darren Star. The 10 episode, half-hour series will bookend a new Thursday dramedy night that launches in January with 'First Wives Club,' from Tracy Oliver ('Girls Trip'), followed by Star's hit-series 'Younger,' that officially moves to Paramount Network for season six in the spring, followed by 'Emily in Paris' in the summer.

Paul Rudd is set to star in a new Netflix comedy series, Living With Yourself, from the directors of Little Miss Sunshine, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, according to Variety.
