Cape May's own and Philadelphia favorite, Jeff Coon, is co?creating and hosting three unique, cabaret?style variety shows for shore audiences at the Cape May Convention Hall this summer. These shows titled, An Evening at the Cape May Summer Club, are being co?created with Ree Carney Dunphy. Dunphy is known for assisting in creating and operating Carney's, the legendary pub on the University of Philadelphia's campus, and the famous Carney's Restaurant and Bar in Cape May, New Jersey. In addition, Dunphy plays a pivotal role with the American Cancer Society and is a co?creator of the black tie event, the BasketBall, one of Philadelphia's premiere social events.

The newest comedy to open at Act II Playhouse is Neil Simon's HOTEL SUITE. The show revolves around two unique story lines that provide a humorous glimpse into the lives of two separate couples that happened to stay in the same hotel suite. The show provides lots of laughs, but it also engages the audience in the storylines of each couple. Act II's production of HOTEL SUITE is a great way to spend an evening out and have a few laughs with friends and family.

Currently on the stage at Act II Playhouse is the hilarious LET'S PRETEND WE'RE FAMOUS. This show stars two phenomenally talented actors, Tony Braithwaite and Jennifer Childs. The show encompasses humor, song, dance, and even some historical tidbits. This show will have audiences laughing throughout the show, and Braithwaite and Childs's performances are not to be missed.
