A follow-up to the wildly successful Let's Pretend We're Married, Let's Pretend We're Famous was originally produced in 2012 at 1812 Productions as a part of the Independence Foundation's New Works Initiative. Robin Bloom of WHYY called it "a delightfully witty comedy cabaret."

"If you are unfamiliar with Barrymore Award-winning Tony Braithwaite, the show provides an opportunity to get to know this Philadelphia funnyman at his best - singing, dancing, acting; an improv master, with a Stephen Colbert style quality and quick wit," Bloom wrote. "Jennifer Childs, Artistic Director and co-founder of 1812 Productions, shines with her beautiful voice and amusing accents and impersonations. The two are lovable and charming and their chemistry is a joy to watch."
