KRONOS AT 40, twenty-eight concerts and events (July 24-28), curated collaboratively by Lincoln Center Director of Public Programing Bill Bragin and Kronos Quartet's artistic director David Harrington, opens the 2013 edition of Lincoln Center Out of Doors. The mini-festival will spotlight daily appearances by Kronos, on its own and with special guests, includingMariana Sadovska, Magda Giannikou, Jherek Bischoff and Dan Deacon, whose composition features one of his most recent crowd-participation creations: a light-show generated by audience smartphones via his downloadable app.

Liberty Hall Museum at Kean University has announced it will host an exquisite Governors' Ball on its grounds the evening of Monday, April 29. Governor Chris Christie will serve as Honorary Chairman of the event, with a number of New Jersey's former governors expected to attend. The Governors' Ball will mark Governor Christie's first visit to Liberty Hall Museum, the former home of New Jersey's first elected governor, William Livingston, and six successive generations of the prominent Livingston and Kean families.

Pace University has announced the 2012 / 2013 season of Pace Presents, hosted at The Michael Schimmel Center for The Arts located at 3 Spruce Street between Park Row and Gold Street in downtown Manhattan. Pace Presents is a world-class performing arts and culture series with an emphasis on music superstars from around the globe, charismatic and crowd-pleasing dance performances, spectacular theatre and contemporary cabaret.
