Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre Presents World Premiere of BLIND, Previews 2/17

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater continues its 15th anniversary season with the world premiere of Blind, by Craig Wright (The Pavilion, Lady). Directed by Lucie Tiberghein (The Pavilion, Geometry of Fire), performances begin Wednesday, February 17th, 2010. Opening night is Thursday, February 25th at 7pm. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 21st, 2010.

On astormy night, Sergei sits alone with his first great novel in a small room inMoscow. A knock at the door propels him down the rabbit hole into an adventureof ridiculous proportions. This world premiere event melds together thehilarious and stunning adaptation by Keith Reddin with an epic original scoreby Andrew Gerle and Royce Vavrek. From the thunderous sound of the keys, thetrue music of a man's voice battles with your expectations. Performances for 'Black Snow' will be held February 3-6.

After reviewing over 250 applications from across the country, PAGE 73, a non-profit theater company that develops and produces exclusively the work of early-career playwrights who have yet to receive substantial production opportunities in New York City, has announced that ELIZA CLARK is the 2010 P73 PLAYWRITING FELLOW.
