The Public Theater has announced the exciting international line-up for the 13th annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 4-15, 2017.

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with Shakespeare's Hamlet, directed by Tom Ridgely, on Monday May 2nd at 7:30pm, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson).  Featured in the cast will be Arian Moayed (Tony Award nomination, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo) along with Mohammad Aghebati, Amir Arison, Brendan Averett, Cary Donaldson, Abraham Makany,  Seth Numrich, Debargo Sanyal, Babak Tafti, Faran Tahir, Sheila Vand, Bernard White, and more.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.redbulltheater.com or by phone at (212) 352-3101.

This Sunday (April 24th) marks the opening of Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) production of Richard Brinsley Sheridan's THE SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL, directed by Marc Vietor.

Waterwell today announced a special command performance at Joe's Pub of its 2016 New Works Lab commission Some of the Things Inside, a bracingly honest play by one of the most singular and significant voices in the American theater: Pulitzer Prize finalist and OBIE Award winner Dael Orlandersmith (Forever, Yellowman, Beauty's Daughter). This year's installment of the annual developmental workshop series for the senior Drama class at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS), Some of the Things Inside is directed by Allison Talis and will play Joe's Pub Monday, April 18th at 7:00pm.

This savage satire follows Malevole, the sarcastic court jester as he lambastes Renaissance Genoa with his caustic wit. But in a tale of false deaths, seductions, and adulteries, is this jester truly what he seems to be?

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will kick off with a special benefit reading and party on Monday October 26th (7:30pm): George Etherege's The Man Of Mode, or, Sir Fopling Flutter, directed by Jesse Berger starring Michael Urie, along with Matthew Amendt, Suzanne Bertish, Angel Desai, Ryan Garbayo, Adam Green, Kathryn Meisle, Amelia Pedlow, Everett Quinton, Reg Rogers, Liv Rooth, Mary Testa, Marc Vietor, Spiff Weigand, and more. The Man of Mode will feature live music by Scott Killian. Libertine or liberator? London's leading rake wreaks hilarious havoc on high society in this - the original Restoration Comedy - with help from Sir Fopling Flutter, the first and greatest of the Restoration fops. An exclusive party with cast and special guests including Chukwudi Iwuji, Miriam Silverman, Matthew Rauch, and Laila Robins, among others, follows the benefit reading.

Waterwell, one of the Village Voice's Best Arguments for Devised Theater and creators of GOODBAR and #9, continues its annual series of developmental workshop productions by commissioning a new play from Qui Nguyen (The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G, She Kills Monsters) for its senior Drama Class of 2015 at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS). To be directed by longtime collaborator, Robert Ross Parker (Goodbye Cruel World, co-artistic director of Vampire Cowboys), the piece will premiere at PPAS in April 2015.

The Tank, a non-profit arts presenter located in the heart of midtown, will present its first-ever Noir Fest: two weekends of eclectic events that are all in some way inspired by film noir. New plays, short films, clowning, improv, and a panel discussion are all included. The Festival features both new work and tributes to noir classics. After sold out runs in Australia, the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with Three Fish Productions presents Der Gelbe Stern (The Yellow Star) a new musical conceived and performed by NYMF's 'Next Broadway Sensation' winner Alexis Fishman*, written by James Millar & Alexis Fishman. Waterwell, one of the Village Voice's Best Arguments for Devised Theater and creators of GOODBAR and #9, continues its annual series of new play workshops at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in Manhattan with Salome of the Moon, a new play by Nick Jones and directed by Knud Adams. The production opens tonight and continues through Saturday, May 10th at 7p, with an additional Saturday matinee at 2p.

Waterwell, one of the Village Voice's Best Arguments for Devised Theater and creators of Goodbar and #9, announces the official launching of its film division with the World Premier of the short film, Day Ten, at the 13th Annual Tribeca Film Festival. Day Ten, is written and directed by Arian Moayed and stars Omar Metwally.
