Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with Shakespeare's Hamlet, directed by Tom Ridgely, on Monday May 2nd at 7:30pm, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson). Waterwell, one of the Village Voice's Best Arguments for Devised Theater and creators of GOODBAR and #9, continues its annual series of developmental workshop productions by commissioning a new play from Qui Nguyen (The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G, She Kills Monsters) for its senior Drama Class of 2015 at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS). To be directed by longtime collaborator, Robert Ross Parker (Goodbye Cruel World, co-artistic director of Vampire Cowboys), the piece will premiere at PPAS in April 2015.

The Tank, a non-profit arts presenter located in the heart of midtown, will present its first-ever Noir Fest: two weekends of eclectic events that are all in some way inspired by film noir. New plays, short films, clowning, improv, and a panel discussion are all included. The Festival features both new work and tributes to noir classics.
