The Royal Shakespeare Company's West End production of Matilda The Musical has announced that Sara Munday and Olivia Wells will join Lily-Mae Evans and Savannah Read in the title role of Matilda from 13 March 2018. Seen by over 7.7 million people across more than 60 cities worldwide, the multi award-winning production is now playing its seventh year in London, booking at the Cambridge Theatre until 10 February 2019.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical has announced that Lily-Mae Evans, Kitty Peterkin and Savannah Read will join Emma Moore in the title role of Matilda from 12 September 2017. The multi award-winning production is about to enter its seventh year in the West End and is booking at the Cambridge Theatre until 27 May 2018.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical has announced its new adult cast with David Shannon playing Miss Trunchbull alongside Gina Beck as Miss Honey and Tom Edden and Marianne Benedict as Mr and Mrs Wormwood. The multi award-winning production is currently playing its sixth year in the West End and is booking until 27 May 2018.

Lenny Henry will make his Donmar debut as Arturo Ui and is joined by Michael Pennington, who recently played the title role in King Lear at the Royal & Derngate Northampton, as Dogsborough. BWW Review: AMADEUS, National Theatre, 26 October 2016

Jealousy stalks this seminal work by the late Peter Schaffer, making a triumphant return to the theatre where it debuted in 1979. Court composer Salieri is cursed with just enough musical appreciation to realise how mediocre his efforts are in comparison with Mozart - whose instinctive genius is yoked to an obscene child persona - a realisation that shakes his fundamental faith. If music is God's art, why isn't his virtue rewarded with a divine voice? Why does the Almighty choose instead, as his conduit, someone who Salieri deems so unworthy?

Young Chekhov Trilogy, 'PLOUGH' Wrap Up This Autumn; THE RED BARN, AMADEUS Begin This Month

Final performances of the Young Chekhov trilogy begin this autumn in the Olivier Theatre, and The Plough and the Stars is wrapping up at the Lyttelton. In addition, previews begin in the Lyttelton for The Red Barn on 6 October (press night on 17 October), and Amadeus starts previewing in the Olivier from 19 October, (press night on 26 October).

First Rehearsal Images Released for AMADEUS at the National Theatre

Rehearsals started this week for AMADEUS, which begins previews in the Olivier Theatre from 16 October (press night 26 October). This autumn, Peter Shaffer's classic play Amadeus makes a long-awaited return to the National Theatre after 37 years.
