With special appearances scheduled for tonight in New York City and Saturdayhere in Asbury Park, the Jake Clemons Band is officially on the Birthday Beat as a participant in LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2017: The Beat Goes On, as the 17th anniversary kicks into high gear this week in the global battle to defeat Parkinson's Disease and related illnesses through the awesome power of music.

With a goal of topping last year's record-breaking $5.25 million dollars raised in its ongoing battle against Parkinson's disease, LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2017: The Beat Goes On, presented by the Asbury Park Press, the 17th anniversary edition of the anchor event for the world-renowned Light of Day Foundation, will bring over 150 music acts to 30 venues over 10 days in three New Jersey cities, New York City, and Philadelphia, in January, following holiday season tours of Europe and Canada.

No previous experience is required and it is not necessary to come with a partner. All dances will be taught. Michael Flatley's new show Dangerous Games has announced Scottish Dancer Ryan Stevenson will be star in this brand new show coming to the Edinburgh Playhouse on 12-14 May.  The show has exciting and ground-breaking new technology, including holographs, dancing robots, world champion acrobats and the greatest team of Irish Dancers in the world.  A new score composed by Gerard Fahy, new costumes and special effects lighting add a breath-taking new dimension to the original masterpiece.
